I’ve always been amazed at how little value is placed on subjectivity. At least by those who hide their own aggressive and unyielding subjectivity behind the label of “objectivity”. A diversity of opinions, published or not, is the cornerstone of meaningful conversation and debate. And a detached objectivity is the right way to go about writing tepid, poorly ageing content.
